Mudlark rules. I can’t even explain what it means to me except to say I have found bonds that will last forever. Our directors, Mike, Andrew and Christina have a way of injecting professionalism into what they’re doing without putting pressure on kids. Before Mudlark I had no idea what I was doing in acting. It has helped me become a better person and opened me up to new things -- I’m much more open-minded now. It has forced me to become more focused while I’m on stage and increased my motivation to give more energy and maintain my organizational skills as an actor. It helped me establish my routine as an actor. I remember my first show, I knew no one before it started and afterwards I thought “what am I going to do now?” Mudlark is a shelter, a place where you have a community waiting for you, and I will never forget the friendships I have made here.
